Oh thank you so much!

Yeah, this fic is more violent for me than usual. If I kill off a character, it's normally just the one, not three (and then, there's the OC who died in the Mentalist sections. But you can't have a case without a murder...). I always knew where the ending was going to go; Red John just doesn't let people 'get away' with things. And Rich was as involved as Alo was, even if he wasn't the one to actually kill Liv.

Definitely! I was tempted to add an epilogue to ensure that people who have only watched Skins know that Red John gets his just desserts (not that I think it was Red John - but I'm just being suspicious of the Mentalist show runners). But at the same time... I liked the ending and thought an epilogue would have been superfluous.

I'm glad that you feel like I got the balance right; this is the longest crossover I've written - my others just being crazy little oneshots between The Mentalist and Discworld.

Both Graces go through the mill a little; that was a little coincidental. Of course, in the time this fic is set, Grace Violet has it worse because Van Pelt doesn't know about O'Laughlin's loyalties yet. It was fun, thrusting Nick into the position. The other kids had all had a chance to step into the limelight, albeit briefly and I think he deserved a chance. Plus, I think deep down, he is a nice guy. It's just he's having a bit of a meltdown.

Thank you so much, once more! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. :-)
