The Nursery Emerges
Saturday was almost entirely devoted to nursery prep and gift sorting. I started the morning off with quiet contemplation and putting together the crib.
As Y started his day, he tackled the gifts from three showers... Sorting and grouping items so we can actually find things. :-)
Later we situated more of the furniture in the nursery and secured straps from the changing pad to the surface we're using it on.
And another bit of storage we're using. The start of H's library is here as well, including some books in Chinese that Y's mom found for us.
So we're getting there. These are just broad strokes, of course. Many details are still to come. Like deciding what we need with us the first few days after delivery -- settling in a bit before making the drive home -- and how to handle the logistics of daily shipments of breast milk.
