Halloween Prep and Patio Decorating
I was out looking at Haloween stuff with S and really found that most of it was pretty drab. Halloween isn't something I've gotten excited about for a long while. But then I spotted the coolest thing... a gargoyle! Well, there were three of them... but they spoke to me. I took one home, and I knew instantly where it was going to go. I live upstairs, and the balcony offers a fairly wide surface to place things like... gargoyles. hehehe
So there he sits. Being that he has burlap for wings, I may have to bring him in when it rains, but I think he may just stay there all the time now. Maybe it will keep the noisy prey... er, ... I mean children away.
This is just after placing him, by the outside lamp.
This is the next morning as I was headed out on my way to work. I /almost/ think having him on the corner would be better, but I like that he might be slightly less conspicuous here... and less likely to result in a note asking for his removal on my door. ;-)
