SX Munch, Demos, and Play... oh my!
Having the munch at the dungeon was a total WIN! We had many regulars as well as a few faces I've not seen at a munch in the south bay, in my time. It was marvelous!
Things got even better when we got to the demos. This is something I've really missed from the SX munches since our change in location -- not having a private room does make a difference, practicalities aside. We had singletails, staples, fire... I'm sure I'm missing something, but let's just say it was a lot of fun and informative too.
The transition to the play party was as natural as could be. After some more chatting in the social area, S and I got to play after a very long hiatus. We still need more practice playing together, but I still had a lovely time. After all, what masochist /wouldn't/ enjoy a healthy dose of torture? hehehe There was moaning, growling, screaming, barking... such sweet music from the dungeon.
And then, as more people cycled into the dungeon, we returned to the social area to settle down some and enjoy visiting some more. It struck me how much I'd missed having Edges there during the move. I'm so glad it's back and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the energy of everyone there last night.
