My CollarMe Freak Cherry Popped
Yes, gentle reader, it took less than 24 hours for me to meet my first CollarMe nut job. What about me for my profile (see link in the side bar) said "Oh, why yes... with less than 5 minutes of conversation with a complete stranger ONLINE I will drop to my knees and refer to you as Sir, with all the rights and privileges... ?!?!?

Me : Apologies, Sir. I had to go to a brief meeting (at work). In all fairness, I should point out that I have been in the public scene for a few years now. Up to this point, all my contacts have always first been in person (at a munch or other public event). I absolutely do not do "cyber play". I share this because I find it a bit troubling to fall into roles with someone who is a complete stranger
Me: to me, with no context for the behavior. I am definitely curious to get to know you, Sir. But I am really not looking for baseless role play.
Mind you, in a later IM conversation with someone I admire and respect a great deal, I we exchanged the following (in part discussing the above trainwreck).
Him : I would never require you to call me Sir, but I think you would anyway! :)
Me : I call you Sir because there is something in you that speaks to my beast. :) You are Sir because should it come to pass that such a thing were possible, my soul would sing in glee at the thought. :)
Him : I will call most folks sir on occasion, not out of deference, but out of respect..
Me : but certainly I would not call someone Sir because some stranger demands it in our first (and last, I might add) IM
Me : oh yes... I tend to do it in general life as well. But sometimes there is more to it. :)
Me : at my core I think there is a boy, cub, subbie, and perhaps even slave... but we're still working to explore. :)
