World: A world as if the humans were the first people to play SBURB, instead of the trolls. So all twelve of the trolls are now humanized, and all four of the original kids are now trolls, who grew up in the world of Alternia and were trained to be more ruthless than their original counterparts. For simplicity, all names and titles have been kept the same:
John Egbert (ectoBiologist), Land of Wind and Shade
Rose Lalonde (tentacleTherapist), Land of Light and Rain
Dave Strider (turntechGodhead), Land of Heat and Clockwork
Jade Harley (gardenGnostic), Land of Frost and Frogs
However, parts of their personalities may be different, particularly when it comes to the ability to kill or be killed, as well as certain relationships between the kids themselves. Each troll also has a patron human, or "fairy god human" that attempts to help them along the way, with mixed results. Each troll has a different attitude towards the meddling humans. Rose thinks of them with disdain, and tends to be easily annoyed by all of them (including Kanaya, though to a lesser extent than most on account of her intelligence and wit). She blocks them frequently, and even blows up Eridan's computer because of the anger he causes her.
From here on out, when I say 'trolls' I mean Rose, John, Jade, and Dave.
Hives:
John;
• A large, airplane-styled hive that sits precariously on a cliff in the middle of the hive cluster of blue blooded trolls. It is shaped to look like the airplane out of Troll Con Air, which is his favorite movie. The inside of the airplane is slightly creepy looking, as suits the semi-nobility of Alternia. However, John doesn't have very many hive guests, because of his location in relation to the rest of his companions.
Rose;
• A mansion hive that sits over a broad river and runs on water power. It is very close to the ocean, and consequently to Jade's hive, which is a little out of the way but navigable if Rose wishes to journey that far alone (she doesn't, not usually). No one else is within proximity of her hive, though she is always watchful. She's also careful to reinforce the bottom of her hive with spikes in case any seadwellers get any ideas and decide to raid inland.
Dave;
• Dave lives in the top unit of a hivestem that sits farther away from the ocean than any of the other trolls. It is ridiculously close to the Alternian desert, which blows sand in frequently, leaving Dave's hive covered in it if he leaves the windows open (which he does). It's a messy hive, but he tends to spend most of the time outside of it, exploring in the desert and fighting any highbloods who feel the need to try and assassinate a lowly redblood. Dave always keeps the hive's door locked with lots of bolts when asleep. No one can visit him.
Jade;
• The most peculiar of hives, Jade lives on a large island not far from the shore of the ocean. It connects to the mainland through a wide path that's only visible during low tide. The hive itself is shaped like a strange lab, with a large orb at the top and a small place jutting out near the bottom for her respiteblock. She's always trying to get people to visit, but it's perilous -- seadwellers are always trying to attack her for food and other motives while she's crossing the land bridge, so not many people want to bother trying to get to her. Jade's kept safe only by her lusus, but she feels as if everyone's lusus should be as fierce as hers is.
