So it seems that I've arrived in Violet City. Quaint, really, but still too small. And no chess boards to be found. Not that I really expected very much, but it was worth a try ( Read more... )

I don't know about other people, but this is a dream come true for me! To be inside a videogame. I don't think I want to go home. Not yet... this is too much fun.

I'd say I hadn't considered that answer, but after we last spoke, I was more than aware of that too. Of course, I'd say you're something of a special case, compared to many.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. No, quite the opposite actually. It's refreshing!

Not everybody has heard of the game. It's a little sad.

...Everybody else wants to go home?

Sad? I found it interesting! To think, we're in a place that brings many people from many dimensions... some of which breach the fourth wall! This entire place does that - it's fascinating. And I'm sure not knowing of the games must provide something more a challenge. Such a different learning curve, after all.

No, but most aren't as excited as you do see this world as a reality.

The longer I spend here, the more I think I'm trapped inside the old TV show, Captain N. Or something like that. Otherwise, it's just not posible any other way I've heard of. I can't wait for other people I know to show up from my world. It'll be awesome having battles with them -- and winning!

I suppose the game was a bit of a flop, and Team Rocket were a bit scary back in the day. Other people might also miss their old lives -- but there's no way back that I've heard of. So why not have fun!

Any way that you've heard of doesn't rule out all of the possibilities though, Pilgrim-san. That goes two ways, of course. It's entirely possible to leave, though it's not on our own accord... and therefore, it's merely a matter of willpower to find the resources necessary to make it happen.

If one wanted to leave, of course.

But since you enjoy it so much, I doubt that'd matter in any case; at least for the time being, I'd say!

So... it's some kind of mystery game. I've seen mentions on the community of people disappearing -- maybe they found a way home and didn't want to tell us?

Not that any of this matters, but it'd be nice to know. I could travel between the two dimensions, using knowledge from both of them to save everybody else, and become a legendary hero.

It could be any number of things. Perhaps it's as you say. Perhaps they've found it with no way to spread the information. Perhaps they've not actually disappeared from this world at all. Perhaps those who brought us here have gotten bored and sent them back.

It's quite a number of possibilities, isn't it? Only time itself will tell us the true answer... if that even happens for many.
