I don't think it would be too bad so long as the curses are fun curses instead of painful ones, like...like yesterday's.

Popular opinion holds the deities responsible for arranging the curses. They're unlikely to approve of a steady stream of "fun" curses.

In Sylvarant, there was a group called Desians who kidnapped people and tortured them to use their bodies to produce stones called Exspheres. It was truly horrible.
