I found my Shower Curtain! I went to a bigger walmart over in Rancho Cucamonga (I just LOVE saying that name so any opportunity to say it, I take. If I have to stay in the Inland Empire (where I'm at now silly), that is where i would live. Its sooo nice, laid back, nestled in the foothills of the mountains. I went to my Junior College there and loved it. Its a bit more upscale then I can afford though) this weekend and they had a dolphin themed Shower curtain! Leave it to the Walmart thats on Route 66 to have what I need :) I got my kicks on Route 66! seriously though I might start doing that walmart from now on. The one closer to me has way more mexican themed items (especially clothing) then I like. I'm just not big into the mexican style (even if I basically live in Mexico)
Anywhoos, They had more then 1 type actually (they had the dolphin lotion dispenser and toothbrush holder too but oh well, I saved 5 bucks getting the ones I got at Bed, bath and beyond) so i got the cheaper one (its undersea dolphins as opposed to the more expensive one that had them jumping out of the water, I can live with that) and Dolphin hooks :) The Dolphin hooks have the same purple and green color that the Soap Dispenser and Toothbrush holder I have so I think it ties in nicely. The Target over there even had a dolphin Toilet Seat (i need to get a toilet seat) but I didn't like that its see trough so I'll probably just get a normal toilet seat. I'll make a home depot trip this weekend :)
Finally my dream Dolphin themed bathroom is realty, though not as dolphin-ie as I would have liked. I even busted out the clay dolphin I made in college to go in it :) Probably the nicest thing about living alone is decorating any way I please and not get looks of "you're weird" or being told flat out "hell no" LOL So i'll be busting out my Simpson toys and Anaheim Ducks stuff to go in my mom's (i guess they're mine now) Curio cabinets. At least those make sense as opposed to the bundle of sticks (yes sticks) Arianne had bought in SF to decorate the living room with (that ended up just sitting in the corner un-used and tacky looking) Granted none of what I'm busting out now was with me in SF but I can't imagine any of my roommates having been ok with them as a decoration for our living rooms LOL
As for the place itself my dad managed to finish the plumbing (other then it was leaking at the water heater so I'm not sure if they fixed that yet) last night so all thats left is putting up the dry wall and its done! Perhaps by Tuesday it'll be completed! I don't think i'll be able to fully move in yet, I want to unpack what's in there to find my dang futon screws. I REALLY hope they didn't fall out somehow en-route from SF to here. I thought for sure they were in a box thats in my trailer but they weren't there :( so I might have to buy screws to replace them if I can't find them.
If it weren't for a Migraine I'm having right now i'd be really excited! Once I move in I can re-evaluate things like Dish towels, trash can, etc. I still haven't determined what my color scheme will be for the main area. There are a LOT of browns from the wood so I know brown is out, one can only handle so much brown. And the tile has a mix of browns and oranges. I guess I can do orange but I'm kinda leery on that. I really want a dark red or blue but I just don't know how it'll look.
Oh well that is all secondary.
And yes when I move in and am unpacked there will be pictures as I can pick up a weak signal on my PSP so my comp should get a stronger internet signal up there as the adapter thingie will be higher up facing a window :)
If I can just get a better paying job, or some freelance work I dare say life would be good for the first time in a long time LOL So who needs graphic or web work ROFL.
