Maybe I will stay up for the second conan, it's going to be a late night.

This was going to be a somber liverjournal post, but George Harrison has a way with his music. My spring break thus far:

I lost 7 pounds in 2.5 days, the stomach flu was even more fun than previously hyped. It's better than atkins, with only 7 hours of constant vomiting.

My devoted japanese hairstylist butchered my hair beyond belief, I have no idea what he was thinking. Immediately after he even reacted with, "haha, Oh, it doesn't look same." yeah, it doesn't look same.

Tommy left today for new york city, I wish I had planned ahead and booked a flight to go there with him. Menomena! is playing there, whom I have heard put on quite a show.

My break turned around last night though when Tommy and I got a bottle of champagne and went to this old beach cove we used to go to with our friends of yore. It was the best night I have had in awhile and talking about our beach days made me feel increasingly old. I remembered this girl that would yell things down at us from the top of the cliff. She would sit outside in her jaquizzi and condescendingly look down on us. Oh how much I resented you MICHELLE. Anyways, this one time we could no longer hold back our disdain and egged tommy on to moon her. After a few minutes we convinced him, now his ass is no mere mortal ass- it's the type that lights up a room, in a paradoxical manor. She, sitting in her normal perched position at the top of this cliff looking down at us notices tommy getting ready to perform and runs inside. We don't tell tommy because things were getting interesting. The moment tommy asks us if he should go, we all yell yes! and at that exact second her entire family walks out to look at the sunset, her WHOLE family. Oh that expression on her grandparents, parents, sisters and brothers...such horror as they looked down to see tommys swaying ass in the air. So perfect, then tommys reaction as he turned around and saw a group of 10 strangers walking away from the the jaquizzi.

I miss those days.

Anyways, the rest of my break will be better or else. I am determined to go to the beach and drink wine and make the most of this break. I imagine myself walking down the beach in one of those 40s bathing suits with the stripes, nearly fully clothed, with a japanese parasol. I will set up my beach towel next to some over-tanned and horribly hair highlighted women and take in what it really means to be "a real californian"
