My goodness but it's smoky

The Everglades is on fire. I just confirmed that from the news but I really didn't need to as the smell of the smoke is overpowering, and I'm indoors and pretty far east - I can't even imagine what the folks who live closer west are dealing with. We're under an air advisory because of it. Tomorrow (I guess actually today) I have to go into work - way too much to catch up on since my leave - and I get the feeling that drive (towards the fires, though not that close) will be interesting.

I'm irritated because the smokiness is keeping me awake and I want to sleep dammit.
