30 Day DaiMao Drabble Challenge: Day 1
This is inspired by an "imagine your OTP prompt, and I hope to expand on this in the future because I'm really digging this AU. Note: Emperor = Takigawa Eiji.
“Kyousuke no kimi…my precious gem. Why do I see such sadness when I look into your eyes?”
“’Tis no matter of importance, My Majesty. I’ve just been a bit tired as of late,” the royal concubine replied softly with a forced smile.
The Emperor remained skeptical but decided not to push the matter further. Instead, he caressed Kyousuke’s cheek tenderly, almost causing the young boy to flinch. If he showed any sign of distress or discomfort, the Emperor did not seem to notice. Instead, desire burned in his chest and seared through his gaze, causing the concubine to fidget nervously under his predatory stare.
Kyousuke knew what was coming, and he knew he would not be able to fight it. His skin crawled when he imagined being touched by a man other than his beloved Daisuke, but he had no choice. He was, after all, the Emperor’s distinguished concubine and honorable consort.
