Vacation

So I am on vacation and I just returned from a long stay on Reno. I think that if I ever get the chance to move there I will. Outside of the typical gambling that EVERYONE does its a really great city. There are so, so, so, many things to do and things to experience. Reno itself is steeped in history as being one of the last stops on the way to Sutter's Fort during the 1849 Gold Rush but, just a short distance away is one of the great destinations for a Gold miner, Silver miner or a Cartwright in Virginia City. We didnt get a chance to go there but when I go back I will visit. Overall it was really a great trip. I got to spend some time with my brother and his family on thier "turf" and I also got to see some of the city that many people miss when they go to Reno. There are GREAT eating locals outside of the casinos and great architecture from a city that dates back more then one hundred years. One of the the things that I didnt notice about Reno that I had to have pointed out to me was that there are NO bugs. Thats literally the truth. In the mornings my brother can open his back door and not have to worry about mosquito's, fly's, or any other pesky insects floatin' around. I thought that was great. The weather during this time of year is really awesome. The desert mornings are cool and nice with lows dipping into the low sixties to high fifties and reaching at the hottest mid ninties. Whats great though is that as the day warms it peaks around 3:30p and about that same time the wind comes up and the cool down starts. From about that time until 7:00p theres a steady and noticable drop in temperature.

While I was there it gave me the oppurtunity to see what I needed to see with myself and what I need to do to make work right for me. I know when I get back to work it will be very hectic but, I also know that I will be in a different place (mentally) and that I will see work from rested eyes. Who knows what the furture will hold for me but at least I have a game plan. I know though that I cant to wrapped up in my work and that I have to stay focused on present tasks. Anyway things are going to be different and I can wait to see how it all comes down. Anyway, I just bought a few things when I went out earlier this evening including a book on how to play Blackjack better. Considering I layed out almost three hundred dollars, a donation we'll call it, I need to work on my game and get those odds secured. Maybe there will be an Indian Casino run once I have all of these numbers memorized. I have more but thats it for now.
