So the last week has been a total blast. I went to New York, which was simply amazing. I need to live there. Yes, need. I just walked out of the hotel and walked around the city, visiting Times Square, Central Park, and a million shops. I love the culture and style of New York. You can be anything and no one really would be surprised, so you try even harder to stand out, but you are somehow common for being unique. Damn, I'm stupid.
I saw Athena for the first time in six months! I swear, that girl will always be my bestestestest friend in the whole world, no matter what. Our nights together consisted of cheesecake, a boy who did not realize he was gay, water bottles, and rum and cokes. I love her!
I have been hanging out with Miss Vicky for sometime now, which has been to my betterment. She really is hilarious, and we make a kick ass team. Her friends are so amazingly nice, and I feel like I really have found my niche in this god for saken town.
Singlehood has been treating me fairly well. Sean and I have hung out, and I hate to admit this, but I really did miss him while I was in NY. Even worse, I'm not looking forward to not being able to see him this often. Damnit, he grew back on me, again! And the worst part is that he is better than when he was in high school. More mature, not high around me, talkative, blah blah blah. But don't worry, he's not enough to take Katrina off the market.
I met this kid Kyle, on of Vicky's friends. He is pretty nice and everything, and according to Vicky a really great guy. He has a good sense of humor, meaning I make fun of him and he acts shocked that a little sweet girl could say such things. Honestly, he didn't really spark my interest when I first met him. But after hanging out as a group and what not, he seems like a genuinely cool guy. Well, the other night we were all hanging out, and I drove. We were dropping people off, and we dropped him off. He says bye to Vicky and comes up to me says bye, and gives me a kiss. Now for a girl who has gotten action, just a kiss and nothing else is pretty surprising. Also, that's pretty ballsy of him to just go out there for it. The next day he apologized. How cute.
