festive

Thankfully, coffee was available this morning. The place I'm staying ran out, and me being foolish and forgetting how things are closed on This Fine Day, didn't stock up yesterday.
Tonight I'm heading over to Camille's place for a holyday dinner (big fat bird, stuffing and such) and then just relaxing there for the rest of the evening, after Jimmy heads off to work. I don't envy him his job - he works in Addiction Counselling and is very busy this time of year. We had a great conversation last night about therapy and different forms of it, the happiness you can get from working in that field. A bit of a boost, for me, talking with someone who's doing what I want to do. This just gets more exciting. And, in the words of a Rebecca in my life, "Do it! DO IT." So, yeah, I'm doing it. Slowly but surely, I'm doing it.
Not being home for Christmas means my shopping can happen now, which is good. I don't have that many people to buy for (the family, stamper, n, manda, SWR) and I don't want to buy useless crap. Mom & Dad, I imagine I'll just take them shopping at their favourite places. Stamper, I have some local ideas. n, same. Manda... not sure yet, but things are forming. We'll see what I find while I'm here, as well.
SWR - well, that's covered. Very well, actually.
Alright. Off into the downtown with me. It's gray and windy here today, not very festive looking. Supposedly there's going to be snow on the 27th, but I'll believe it when I feel it falling on my face.

blood, travel, coffee, people, happymaking, love
