Two minor corrections/additions:

1) "Ian and I celebrated our sixth anniversary of togetherness... " to which my gift was "...the eyebrow piercing that I've wanted for as long as I can remember". This was balanced by the "redo/refreshing" of my first tattoo (which was complete and utter shit) and now looks brand-spankin'-new! :D

2) "I saw Ian perform his first live solo gig at UAkron's "Rockin' for Relief" event". It's not like I've *never* played live before... just a while, and always with backing. I greatly prefer it that way.

I'm glad you appreciated my (quite deliberate) KeithK shoutout. As for your gig, that was the first time I saw you perform on stage, and thus my sentence was intended to reflect that it was the first time for my viewing, rather than the first time for your playing.
