Hi! I've never posted here before. Mainly because Andrew's my favorite and I usually like him gay. How's it going? *waves* =)
This is probably the start of a series. But don't hold your breath; I have like 20 stories I want to write. ^^;
Title: Innocent
Rating: G
Length: 330 words
Timeframe: Season 7 or later, no spoilers.
Description: Andrew braids Dawn's hair.
--
It all seemed completely innocent, from an outside perspective, if you disregarded the fact that he was a healthy young man, a few years older than her, and she was still under age. They were watching tv, him on the couch, her on the floor in front of him, sitting between his legs, eating chips. He was intently focused on brushing her hair, smoothing out tangles, making a perfect part down the middle. Rebrushing, and redoing the part. Perfectly straight.
He then set about separating one half into three, and braiding it while she laughed at something on the screen.
"Andrew, can you get me more pop?"
"But I'm not done," he whined. "The divisions will get all mixed together..."
She rolled her eyes. "I'll hold it until you get back. It won't get messed up, I promise."
"Ok... because it has to be perfect..."
"Just go."
He placed each section between two of her fingers, then jumped up and hurried to the kitchen.
"Daaawn," he called. "There's no more orange! Do you want root beer?"
"Sure!"
He bounced back onto the couch and carefully took back the sections of hair before handing her the pop. But she'd known all along he'd do what she asked. Whatever she asked, any time at all. After his tearful confession one stressful Tuesday about Warren and the First Evil and all the things he longed to change about the past, she'd quickly learned how to manipulate him with promises and brief touches and smiles. And it was like he never suspected a thing. What a dork.
He was only doing her hair. Two simple braids, parted in the middle. It all looked completely innocent, if you didn't take into account the way he hung on her every word, and the plans she had for him later. And of course if you didn't know about his little Christina Ricci fixation. Because lusting after morbid, dark haired young girls? Not the most virtuous pastime ever.
