I found this closing statement extremely haunting and I've yet to figure out why. Perhaps it's the situation in which it was said or the tone used but it gives off an ominous feel. *shudders*
On to a more light-hearted note, here's a Ladies Prayer that a friend had posted on a bulletin board. Very quirky, very apt. Enjoy.
Ladies Prayer
Now I lay me
Down to sleep.
I pray the lord
My shape to keep.
Please no wrinkles
Please no bags
And please lift my butt
Before it sags.
Please no age spots
Please no grey
And as for my belly,
Please take it away.
Please keep me healthy
Please keep me young,
And thank you Dear Lord,
For all that you've done!
