(no subject)
So just the other night my mum, compulsive-DVD-buying dad and myself were at the DVD store looking at new releases.
I wound up at the music section and picked up an old Beach Boys concert DVD and casually said, "Hmmm... how come they have the Beach Boys but not the Beatles? They're equally old."
My dad turned round to me and asked incredulously, "You like the Beatles?!" After seeing my affirmative nod, he sang off-key in that same incredulous tone, "She loves me yeah, yeah, yeah?!".
"Yeah! They're nice!"
"Oh my god!" My father swore loudly and proceeded to walk out of the store.
Awww... my daddy hates the Beatles with their whole "yeah, yeah, yeah" thing going on. I never knew... LOL! Always thought that was THE group of their generation. To each his own I guess *grins*.
