So I was at my parents' house last night and at about a quarter to 10 Dad says, "Well, let's see who the new American Idol's going to be." and changes the channel. They bring out George Michael to sing and my Dad is sitting there going "Who's George Michael?" and my Mom is telling him, "He used to be in that band in the 80's...what were they called? Oh yeah, Wham! They were very popular." and my dad is just so not impressed with the singer and the song and he says, "Well, HE'S not going to win." Meanwhile, my Mom starts singing "Wake me up before you go-go" in her Mom-prano. Then, once the winner is announced, Mom & Dad launch into how he needs to shave, get a haircut, etc. and the young kid really should've won.
