A fun weekend
I had a fun weekend. Friday night, Deric called me just as I was leaving the office and asked if I wanted to go see They Might Be Giants with him. Since I was already planning to spend the night at my sister's so I could watch her kids so she could get in a little more overtime on Saturday, I figured it was only fair for her to watch Cordelia so I could go out. Fun show, followed by the traditional Village Inn skillets & pie ritual - not as good as I remember it.
Saturday was the standard hang out with the kids day. Cordelia would not nap. I put her in bed hoping to get her to nap and Liam and James kept ignoring me and going to check on the screaming princess, who would then get up and follow them back out to the living room, OR Liam and James would ignore the fact that I was trying to get the girls to nap and they made so much noise that Cordelia was compelled to come see what was going on. End result, one very cranky whiny girl!
