My parents and American Idol...
Last week I was at my parents' house and Dad was flipping channels. He stopped on the American Idol results show. I suspect he only stopped there because they were singing Elvis songs last week, but then Mom started talking about how American Idol was the big conversation topic in her call center so she was a little bit curious about it.
Tonight they apparently watched "Idol" not realizing that no one gets voted off 'til tomorrow. My dad called me right at 9 to complain that he'd wasted an hour and no-one got voted off! I explained that that happens tomorrow night. My parents are now rooting for "the guy with the grey hair", and they think that "the girl" SHOULD get voted off, but "Elliott" might get voted off just for being unattractive!
