pulling my rants from dev, don't want some people to see them while I'm showing off my art.
Have you ever been forced, or had someone try to force you, into something you really can't stand? In the city where I live there is an organization of ladies called the DEB's, which is with the Delta Sigma Theta Org. or something like that... Every year they take senior girls and dress em up in big ole ball gowns and present them to the community in a big formal way. I HATE dressing up and getting in front of people! Especially when dresses and escorts are involved :shakefist: Unfortunately for me, my moms in the Organization, my old elementary school principal (whom I look up to and admire), and so are half of the ladies at my church. And ever since my mom let me drop out (which was hard to do, but I really hate that kinda thing) All these women have been on my frickin ass about getting back into the ball! :pissed: Tryin to pull all these guilt trips on me sayin stuff like, "But your such a pretty young girl!", "Just think about it, It'll be so much fun!", "Once you get out there with your escort you won't think about anything else!". Or the ones I hate most, "Do it for me!" and "Do it for your mother!". GRAH~!! I love them to bits, but they're really startin to tick me off with all that crap... :pissedoff: So I ask you, what should I do? Just go and do it and embarass my self so they'll shut up? Or stick to my guns and say NO so they'll hate me...
