waterproof?
what really happened:
Customer comes in... do you guys have switches.... well of course we do let me show you... are any of these water proof... ummm... nope not that i know of... is there any way to make them waterproof ... nope not that i know of... well i want to make the power cable im hooking up to it waterproof as well... well... uhh.... im not sure if were going to be able to do that or ot... we really dont have much for people who want to make things waterproof... so ill let you look around and kind of judge for yourself... everything you need would be in this corner.... so the customer kind of gives me a look and says youre a big help... i say sorry sir and walk away.... right before he leaves i was talking to herman about something or another... and he interupts to say THATS NICE do you guys have any waterproof iPod cases... or do you know.... Nope sorry sir we dont... He says whatever and leaves...
What I would have liked to happen:
Customer comes in... do you guys have any swicthes.... i point.. there over there and continue to look at shit online... he asks are any of them waterproof... i respond i dont fucking know... but i assume since theyre all electronics with bare leads and metal chassis NO.... ok well i want to make a waterproof power cable can you help me with that... i hand him a car battery and a set of jumper cables and tell him to jump into a fucking pool... he looks around for a bit before having a smart ass comment and i jump over the counter and beat the shit out of him... and wipe my ass with his nose before urintating on his new iPod to test it to see if IT IS IN FACT WATERPROOF!
