Write every day! - Welcome & Day #1
Welcome aboard, everyone!
What's this about?
It was ladycat777's idea, and a bunch of you expressed interest, so here's what we're doing: writing every day in January. For 31 days, we'll be trying to get something down every single day.
Doesn't matter what you want to write - fanfic, original fic, meta, other nonfiction - just that you try and keep with it every day for the whole month.
How is this going to work?
I'm going to make a post for this every day, and we can all check in, talk about our daily writing, and keep each other motivated for the course of the month.
Would people like me to keep track of participants? If you'd like, I'd be happy to keep a tally, so that at the end of the month we can all see who managed to stick with this plan for the whole of January. (Talk to me - what would be useful to you?)
Who's on board?
So far, the following people have expressed interest:
ariss_tenoh, donnaimmaculata, esteliel, ladycat777, lyorn, minavox, miss_morland, navaan, nnozomi, philomytha, plaid_slytherin, shetiger, zippitgood and myself, which makes seven fourteen (!) of us. If anyone else would like to join in, let me know! :)
So, what about Day #1?
Well, that's a good question, self! It's New Year's Day - how is everyone doing, getting started with the writing? Are you already done for the day? Are you chomping at the bit? Are you still trying to drag yourself out of the aftermath of yesterday's party?
(Me, I came home at around half past 4, couldn't manage to fall asleep until after 6, and then slept for about ten hours. I don't think I've had enough caffeine yet, but I'll get my daily writing in after the next cup of coffee, or the one after that at the latest! *g*)
