yes, boys and girls, it is time for the second annual vocab-travaganza!
for those of you who are confused, please allow me to elucidate. if you eschew the thought of studying for vocabulary tests, i purport to include all of the words in this entry. therefore, just by reading, you will learn! it is not a parody or a satire; my aim is simply to illuminate, not imitate.

tonight has pretty much been a microcosm of my whole life.
i wanted a peaceful night tonight, but a major contretemps ruined my plans. i was scheduled to work, i received a lot of homework, and i was told that the austin film festival starts today and that i have to go cover it. what an imbroglio! how was i ever going to untangle everything?
by sixth period, i was feeling quite cynical. i tried to remain stoic in the face of adversity, but i admit that i freaked out due to the stress. i became even more pedantic than usual and was obsessing over little details of the paper which i didn't think were quite canon. defying propriety, i left class five minutes early. what a renegade!
as i drove home, i noticed that one of my tires was making a sibiliant noise. upon arriving at home, i realized that it was totally flat! just GREAT! i began to get angry and think nihilistically, that nothing matters.
however, things soon got better. i called work and presented them with an exemplum stating my otherwise perfect attendance, and they agreed that i could not come in. everything has become more clear and lucid. now if i can just finish my homework, i am going to the paramount (a palimpsest of austin history) to review two movies. maybe when i get home i will write a review? but i will not use euphemisms, i will tell you the straight facts, which i will refuse to recant.
