I hope.....
This week has been weird.
*I went to an undertakers birthday party where snacks were served next to coffins.....and there was a pool table in the parlor. I think the best treat of the night was having 4 semiautomatic nerf ball guns at our disposal at anytime.
*Moved all my crap into a different dorm for the summer by myself. My brother did help with the fridge though and his girlfriend helped me grab the 23 plants that I own. But who was absent the entire time? My boyfriend. It seems like when there is heavy lifting involved he is too busy. Jerk.
*My roommate is sweet, but has a lot of useless crap like a patio chair and crushed velvet fabrics draped around the room. But I can't argue, I have 23 plants. To each their own I guess.
* have a job interview today for two jobs that one company is offering me. One is to help reduce invasive plant species from lakes and to raise awareness in the public about the dangers it can produce and the other would be for a camp that teaches conservation skill to children. I hope I get BOTH jobs, but the commute is going to kill me. But Its what I am studying so I might as well try my hand at it, eh?
*I finally paid for my gym membership ($20 for the summer, being a student ROCKS!)
* Went with my friend to this sweet pet sitting gig because she was sketched out about the guy. Turns out he is just a middle aged hippy who still wants to go out and party and needs some one to take care of his animals in the meantime. So I spent the whole day playing with an angora bunny rabbit, 2 sweet cats and a dog who is older than dirt. It was the best afternoon EVER!!!!
* My new car needs to be patched up. I spent Thursday sanding and priming while my friend Pat switched out my winter tired. I had so many werid looks from people. Then I realized most people on campus have new cars, or dads who will patch up their cars for them. One girl came over and stated that I was her hero. Seriously- a monkey could sand and spray paint a car. Its not that hard.....but I was flattered anyway. I cooked my friend Pat dinner for helping me too-
All and all its been a odd adventure so far, but I can deal. I miss my brother because we actually get along and hang out, normally he is right down the road and when we get board we have BBQ's together or pick fiddle head ferns or stupid crap like that, but he is in Pennsylvania right now and I am utterly board. Krystal is here, and Andy is too. But Krystal is hanging out with Brian and when they are together its hard to separate them-or join them. Most likley they are having sex right now.
As for Andy, well this sound shitty but for some reason I don't want to hang out with my boyfriend. I keep looking at the future and he just keeps looking at me. He s taking a leave of absence from school (which in his words means hes not going back) and that bothers me, but I haven't said anything about it because he is very sensitive about crap like that. I can't even be happy that I achieved a 3.11 GPA this year because he gets upset that I'm doing better than him. Blah/ whatever
