Update!!
Okay here is my Stampede update!
This year I decided to take stampede off from work, that way ensuring max party time!
Friday July 6: Transformers (I loved this movie, i thought it was fantastic!!)
Saturday July 7: Pub Crawl, this was an alright crawl, we started at Tantra and then went to Coyotes, from there we hit the Ranchmans which I've never been too. After a few drinks and the sun i was feeling a little dazy, but when we got to Tequila I was just hungry so Jess Christine and I hit 'bob the fish' for some dinner and it was really good!! after bob the fish we hit Coyotes again, we danced and drank a little more and around 1130 we went home, pathetic but since we'd really been partying since 11 that morning we found it warrented.
Sunday July 8: SEVENTH RAIN Live on Arrival and Hedley. What can I say, i'm a fan of Seventh rain and live on arrival. could have done without Hedley.
Monday July 9: Work, thats it.
Tuesday July 10: Work again.
Wednesday July 11: STAMPEDE! We started our day as usual, i walked to the grounds then Jaclyn and I did our photo, we got a locker then started with the Safeway ride, followed by the new swing ride with was very disappointing. We hit the zipper next and have yet to figure out why people are stupid enough to think they can hold onto their phone while they're thrown around a steel cage at 100 m/hr...cell phones were flying through the cage...stupid... after the zipper it was time for the boat i like that one. THen we went inside for a little while to eat. We hung out inside and i had my palm read. I found it very interesting as i love that sort of thing and can't get my head around palm reading myself. I thought the guy was dead on about a lot of things. Very interesting. After the palm we went back to do some more rides. And really just kill some time before BON JOVI!
The concert freakin rocked! I was so impressed, although not with the woman who sat beside me. She was very large and half of her was on me when she sat down. I didn't care when we were standing because i could see around her, but she sat down and then i did, i had to sit on her a bit because she was on my chair, she started yelling at me. 'watch it bitch' i swear to god i wanted to go off on her, i just said to her 'move off of my chair, i paid for it!' she gave me a look that said 'can't you see i need it' and i just went back to oogling John.
After the concert we did the Farris wheel then walked home.
Thursday July 12: HARRY POTTER!! Oh my god, it was so good, we saw it in the IMAX and having not been to the IMAX in a VERY long time i was thrilled. It was awasome! A few things were missing for me from the book but i got over it. I'm a fan of both the movies and the books and i can appreciate when things can't be added for time constraints...but i truely don't understand why they just don't make it a 6 hour movie! The true potterheads would sit there and soak up all of it!
Saturday July 14: REBA! I'm not a huge fan of Reba, really i just bought the tix because she's a ledgend and i thought we should see her. The concert was amazing, she's so pretty and man can she sing!!
Next up...Deathly Hallows! I CAN NOT WAIT!!!
