Work has been going pretty good lately. I've just about got 6 months in so there's my 2nd reference for the UofM. All I have to do now is find the time to go up there. My Mom works there so if I do get a new job there I'll get to see her a lot :)
We're going to see Mom after Frankie gets off of work today. I'm making turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and brussels sprouts for dinner today then we're going to bring it over Mom's. We didn't get to see her on the 12th (her b-day) so we still have to give her her birthday presents. Speaking of Mom's.....my other Mom (Dee) and the rest of the gang are going to be here sometime in late May for a visit. I think they're going to be here for a couple of weeks. That'll be fun, Frank and I were talking about all of us going to an amusement park while they're here. I have't been to one of those in a long time!
My big brother is getting married :) He's been with our sister-in-law Hannah for 6 years now and it's about damn time. She's such a sweet person and she's absolutely perfect for my brother. She knows when to put him in check too which is good 'cause he can really get outta line sometimes, lol.
Frankie and I are doing really good. We've been trying to get out and do stuff a lot more instead of just working, sleeping, and watching tv together. But watching tv with him is still fun :) We've done a lot of yard work lately and we got some rose bushes that we were gonna plant this weekend but it's supposed to snow tonight. It's weird to have to take care of our own yard now when we're so used to other people (ie-parents) doing it, lol, but it is fun.
We had a bbq at Clay's the other day and me and Frankie got to play with Roland, Krystal's little boy who's only 15 months. We were playing basketball with him and Frankie was pickin him up over his head so he could slam dunk the ball, lol. It was too cute. He's a really great kid and Krystal does a good job with him.
I have absolutely nothing that I HAVE to do this weekend and it feels pretty damn good. But to tell you the truth, I don't know what to do with myself. I cleaned the house and did the laundry last night and now I have nothing to do and I'm pretty bored, lol. I'll just start cooking and wait for Frank to come home so we can leave.
