paying for stuff etiquette
A friend came to stay recenlty, we had a good time, went to the lakes and to Castle Howard and ummmm the Imperial War museum in manchester
anyway.... if you go and stay with someone on holiday do you pay for your own food if you are out in a restaurant or cafe? or at least offer
do you offer to pay for petrol?
do you offer to take your host out for a good bye meal?
The friend that came to stay form the states didnt put his hand in his pocket once......... or offer not even on the last night when we went out for a good bye meal...
the 3 days he was here I spent £300
maybe I am tight (and poor now)
