Alright, here we go. Bad start: I didn't get to sleep til 2 am. 12 is really hard to manage when you feel like its only 8 or 9 pm. So I was knackered.
I had Muesli with Skimmed milk for breakfast. Later I became ravenously, painfully hungry. Then I had a banana and some tea, and felt better. then I was ravenously, painfully hungry again. For lunch I had a big salad, with a little pasta added for some energy content (learning from yesterday). I got a tummy ache.
Early afternoon, I was about to fall asleep at my desk so I got an espresso - no milk, no sugar. Afternoon snack was a Go Ahead Snack cracker thingy, and some tea, milk no sugar. I felt much better for a bit, then was all hurty tummy again, plus grumpiness and slow working. I finally left, came home and made a chicken curry with Chick peas and Low-fat yogurt, tomato, mushrooms. Forgot to add a stock cube so it was lessened in flavour, but meh.
Total kCal count per my wacky website: 1,226. Still, apparently, not enough. I don't like calorie counting! Its so counter intuitive. Should I go back to my old familiar Atkins? Or at least the slightly more moderate Low GI diet. Protein supresses hunger pangs, carb makes me wacky and tired. Not sure. Will give it another day, since my dieting guru says the first few days are gonna be like a kick in the teeth anyway.
