What's new with me?

Good question. Not much.

I've basically been really lazy, avoiding everything I'm supposed to be doing.

In terms of school, the following has happened:

I dropped oceanography, I'm now a part-time student! The teacher went nutso, wanting us to take essay exams. It's a freakin' 1000-level class, come on now. So yeah, I have 9 hours now.

My mass comm class is soooo much fun. We do all the technical stuff for the news broadcasts. Monday I was the technical director, which means that I pushed all the pretty buttons to change cameras, put in graphics, go to commercials... It was great! Yesterday, I was Asst. Director, so I kept track of times and helped the Director as much as possible. Next Wednesday, I'll be directing! Woohoo! So if you're on campus: campus channel 75, TTV, 3:00 Newsbreak.

Sociology is boring, but easy. I have to find 5 articles and write about how they demonstrate sociological theories. It's due Monday, I guess I'll do it on Sunday.

Psyc Statistics is going well. He grades on reference-based grading and as of now, after 4 tests, I'm the 100th percentile, i.e. I'm doing better than 100 percent of the class! Sweet.

I found out yesterday that since I got the assistantship for master's study, I have to be a full-time student year-round. Meaning, I have to take six hours next summer, while my wedding falls in the middle of the semester. GREAT! Mass Comm doesn't even offer summer graduate classes. I talked to Dr DeFleur and we pretty much decided that I'll take three hours of thesis research and three hours of indpendent study. That way I can structure it to where I can take the time off that I need.

Wedding plans are coming along well. Trying to decide bridesmaids dresses right now. The one I really like is a tad too expensive. I'm trying to find better prices. I booked the videographer this week. Rusty Zoller from Livingston. I'm still trying to find a photographer. Damn they're sooo expensive.

SAI sleepover was at my house last weekend. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who came, I know we all had a blast. SAI Province Day is this weekend. I know it's going to be fun. Katie H. has done sooo much work on it. SAI banquet is coming up. I need to make Devin get his tux soon.

Speaking of Devin, his birthday was Tuesday, the 12th. He turned 22! Congrats to him.

OK. I think that's all from me.
