It's that time of year again. I have officially been a member of Fanfiction for two whole years! Still don't have much to show for it, but I have written a fair bit for my original stories, which makes me extremely happy

I'm glad you found Emitime frightening instead of cliche, like the other person who read that excerpt. That other person had a few valid points, so that scene will be tweaked a bit, but the result will still be the same.

Vienata appreciates your concern. He wishes me to assure you things improved for him eventually, but I must add this will not be the last time one of Metra's children gets the best of him, and he will by no means be the only victim. If that were not the case, however, there would be no plot.

Tidbit: Antario's character was originally based on Kaiba. He's developed in his own direction since then, but it cannot be denied there are still some Kaiba-esque traits in there. The rivalry between him and Vienata mirrored the one I saw between Kaiba and Yugi, and Vienata's violet eyes are actually semi-inherited from Yugi. His father had them as well (I used to think Yugi was a full-on red-head for some reason and so Catrion has red hair and used to have some dub-Yami traits). In this setting, however, violet eyes are a sign of being a dreamer, so there's an explanation.
