Typos? Sure.
Two people at work pissed the living crap out of me today! One has pissed me off several times before and I'm certain she will continue to do so in the future. The other in my personal option is the most incompetent assisstant manager at the store. Granted I don't work/deal with him much (hardly ever) but I stand by my statement.
What it comes down to is that I wanted to adjust my schedule for this upcoming week and perhaps longer. Back to the way the maintance schedule had been in the past prior to Ron going on leave for two plus months. He only works weekends, I and the third person would alternate weekends, though after awhile I just had all the weekends off. It was the PERFECT solution! It guarteens maxium coverage at all times! Andrew (the newest member) told me he rather work weekends and have his days off on the weekdays when I asked if he wanted to alternate with me. I suggested he take Fridays off, so an example schedule could be ....
Sat - Ron (10-7) Andrew (1-10) Tabetha (off)
Sun - Ron (10-7) Andrew (1-10) Tabetha (off)
Mon - R (off) A (1-10) T (8-5)
Tue - R (off) A (off) T (11-8)
Wed - R (off) A (5-10) T (8-5)
Thu - R (off) A (1-10) T (8-5)
Fri - R (10-7) A (off) T (1-10)
All shifts are covered, everyone gets hours, everyone is happy. IT WORKED IN THE PAST!!! So when I asked A.M he was all like "oh that makes sense ... blah blah let me talk to a few people." he was totally cool with it. Fast forward a few hours later I run into him and ask him and his response? "Whose your A.M/? He'll have to decide and he works tomorrow." What the hell!? Why act like you could anything or had any fucking authority just to later do nothing!? So now I have to get up in weather likely not even in 20's drive to work see my A.M explain the sitution and hopefully he'll understand, have the schedule changed and go home. It's like 7 and half miles but STILL!
What really pissed me off with was that fucking condsending bitch who never listens to me and has blown me off countless times before. Apparentally she overheard me ask about weekends off and thought I was asking for my own selfish reasons and gave bullshit about how fair is fair, hours can't be changed (bs) and I'll get a weekend off soon, etc. I seriously can't recall most that was said because I was so pissed at her attuide and her assuming I only cared about myself. I tried to explain how it worked in the past but I easily get flustered in those situtions and it doesn't turn out well. Plus she was on break or off for the day because she had on her coat with her purse.
I'm hoping to talk to one of the C.S.M whose been there a long time has witnessed this scheduling set up and can vouche that it works if my A.M is hesistant. Yes the bitch makes the schedule but he has the final say on it. I'm hoping he's cool with and I think he will be because he changed it for the week that just ended and agreed it made sense to. I just never had a chance to talk to him earlier about this upcoming week.
But what next? He changes week 46 and maybe 47 too. After that what? She'll do it her own way get pissed if I ask to adjust it and will never get the hint.
Truth be told if he does say no and doesn't change it fine, but long as someone listens to me and understands why I want it changed I'll be happy. Tired because it means 56 hours without a day off, but whatever.
