...for those who figured that my discontinued posting in my LJ is due to me finding a way of reversing gravitational polarity, thus SHOOTING ME INTO OUTER SPACE. or something; you get my drift.
So i now posess the lucrative job of retail sales @ PacSun in Sunset Place. Its not a really big deal, but working here is soo much better than working @ CVS. I work less, enjoy myself more, and get kickass discounts on everything i'd be buying from them anyway. And i get paid more, but everybody else who was south of the 6.15/hr mark does too.
My Civic is progressing nicely, i bought and installed Tokico shocks and
Ground Control Coilover Conversions (<--- click there Oscar), as well as Bruno's SI rims. He parted with them after an atrocious attempt from the both of us to paint them flat black, and then strip them down and paint them gunmetal. Bad results that need professional refinishing, but im still saving money overall.
The Civic is going into the shop on Monday for some touch-ups on the exterior. ill post pics (maybe), and hopefully ill be 'accelerating relatively quickly', for lack of a nicer word, with style on Thursday.
Ill be starting MIU in the fall. MIU is Miami International University of art and design, located downtown. Ill be going there to study graphic design, and i decided to leave FIU because i felt like i was wasting my time in my classes, and anyone who has ever felt like they were wasting their time in something can relate, so hopefully i dont get any "no, redy! stay in conventional college, because there are no other alternatives!" responses. So Ill be starting that chapter in September.
Ive found myself with nothing to do for 2 hours between work ending and FIU starting, so im going to start exercising furiously (grr!...bah) and hopefully good health habits will start sticking for a change. My uncle tony, as some of you fondly remember, goes cycling a la Alex & Lance. so a few months ago, he left his old bike @ the house, saying that i could have it due to this carbon-fiber contraption he bought. it claims to be a road bike, but it weighs like 5 pounds, but i really dont know. so i might do that, and start swimming/running eventually too.
so there, everybody's caught up. and no, there is no reverse gravitational polarity button. anywhere.
