The first time in this place, I was invisible, hiding under a table.

*smiles to yet another well wisher, shaking his head* Almost wish I could get away with that again. Still, I suppose with everything leading up to where we stand now, a little bit of spotlight isn't going to kill me. Then I can go back to being good and bloody obscure again.

*sits next to Harry, takes a pull of his own butterbeer* Good thing you started without me! Thought I'd never make it back here!

Funny how they're all more willing to approach me and Hermione. Although, Harry does get a fair number of people gawping at him, himself.

You missed it earlier. Some people seem determined to talk to all three of us, like it's a game - collect all three!

*shakes his head* You should go talk and stuff. If I stay out in the middle, all visible, maybe they'll focus on me and you can have some fun.

[trio_hermione]

*bounces over to the table after she manages to escape the clutches of the crowd, taking a drink from Harry's butterbeer*

Oh, what are you two looking so glum about? *watches as they both look at her with their mouths open* *laughs* As if they've never seen me happy before!

Oh, go on, sneak away and hide out if you must. But then you won't get to hear my good news. *looks innocently away as she swipes a sip from Ron's beer this time*

I think I could burst, I'm so happy. This is the life I have always wanted for us.

[trio_ron]

*grins easily in the face of her radiant smile* Accio Butterbeer!

*holds hand out to catch it, putting it down in front of Hermione* Have your own, you mooch!

Good news, huh? *eyes her suspiciously* What kind of good news?

[trio_sirius]

*catches Bill's sleeve just before he reaches the swinging door that leads into the bar, wraps arms around him and kisses him soundly*

*low, with a grin* You might want to check your shirt. *hooks finger into the tag poking up from his collar, tugs* You look like you've just been shagged in the back room.

[trio_bill]

Hummmm...*leans into Sirius' kiss, wanting to do nothing but drag him back into the storeroom for round two*

Wha-? *checks, then takes shirt off, turning it right-side-out and putting it back on*

*shrugs* Hey, maybe I want to look like I've just been shagged in the back room. *leans over, breathes into Sirius's ear* By you. Wouldn't mind being the envy of every witch and wizard in the place.

[trio_sirius]

*chuckles* Flattery will get you everywhere. Not that you haven't already been everywhere.

Not that I didn't like the look, but aren't your parents coming tonight? *raises eyebrows* Maybe you are trying to kill me.

[trio_bill]

*cups Sirius' face, running fingers down his cheeks* Never. I need you.

*nips the skin of his chin, moves out of hallway, heading for the bar* And you need me for the cheap labour.

*waves to his Mum and Da coming in the front door* They're here. Fix your hair.

[trio_mandy]

*spies Lavender across the room and gives a little yelp of excitement*

Lavender! *waves her hand* Lavender!

*weaves her way through the crowd* Oh my gosh! It's good to see you. How are you? I've so much to tell you and something to give you. I had hoped you would be here.

[trio_lavender]

*hears her name being called and turns around* Mandy!

*hugs her tightly, then lets go, speaking rapidly* It's so good to see you too! I'm great! How are you? Isn't this incredible? I've never seen so many people here! Oooh, something to tell me and give me? What is it what is it what is it? *laughs*

I'm doing alright. So glad to see everyone... *smiles*

Oh! Well, Terry and I were packing and I found these, which I had got in Greece to give to you...and then misplaced. They were supposed to be sort of a thank you gift as well as an apology for having you go through all that planning for naught....

*pulls a little pouch out of her pocket and holds it out to Lavender*

They made me think of you. I'm sorry it took so long to get them to you... though I'm glad I found the chance before we left.

*waves off the apology* Don't worry about the planning, Mandy. Eloping is so much more romantic and daring! I loved the books I read in school where the heroine ran off with the hero. It was so exciting and now I know someone who really did it! It's like I'm in one of the books!

*opens the pouch and smiles* Oh, Mandy, they're beautiful! Ooh, and this design is classic! It will go with everything I have! *teases* I had no idea you were such a fashionista. Wait, before you left? Where are you going? You've already gotten married. What do you need to run off for now?

*heading up to the bar, when she catches a glimpse of a familiar face and waves* Terry? It's been forever! How are you?

*waves a hand in acknowledgment and reaches back to pick up his pint off the table, walking over with it too her*

*smiles* Tracey, it's been too long. *sets his beer on the bar* I'm doing just fine. Yourself?

*as the barkeep approaches* Are you having anything?

[trio_tracey]

*nods to the barkeep, addressing Terry* Just butterbeer.

*smiles at him* I'm doing fine. Business has never been better, and my sister isn't a holy terror any more.

I never had the chance to congratulate you on your wedding.

[trio_terry]

*laughs* It's good to hear things are falling into place for you. Let's just hope it's not some phase on her part.

*pulls some coins from his pocket and sets them on the table*

*takes a sip from his own pint* To tell you the truth, there are times when I still can't believe it happened. *looks into his glass* I do wish at times that more of our friends could've been there. We had to do it for us though.

*smiles one last time at the old wizard who came up to clap him on the shoulder and tell him he’s done his parents proud before glancing around the pub* Good Godric, I’ve lost Luna already. And we just got here.

*turns to look behind him and bumps shoulders with someone* Oh, sorry.

*turns to see who he's bumped* No worries-

Oh, Neville! Hello. Bit of a full house, isn't it? *helps to steady Neville by the arm as someone pushes past him*

Seems people can't get enough of a good party these days, does it? *smiles* How are you?

*chuckles* Just a bit. Hello Remus.

*looks round* Seems they can’t, especially not a party where all the heroes are going to be in one place for easy access. *is jostled from behind* I’m alright - still adjusting to it all, I guess.

Still adjusting too, I think. We all are, I'm sure. It will take some time.

All we've talked about for as long as I can remember is defeating Voldemort once and for all. But we didn't usually stop to talk about what we would all do afterwards. These kids have their entire lives ahead of them...
