at figuring out lyrics to a song before i know what they really are. i realized this today and it made me laugh out loud. i was listening to Snow (again!) and i remembered what i first thought some of the lyrics were to the songs i heard. here are some examples:
ORIGIONAL: "the change could come in a twinkling of an eye. a slave running free,so why we spend such a long time suffering?"
I THOUGHT: "the change could come in a twinkling oven I a slave running free, so why we spend such a long time suffering?"
ORIGIONAL: "the devil's got my throat, i'm goin down thats all she wrote"
I THOUGHT: "the devil's got my throat, i'm goin down that salshy road"
hahaha.
anyone like CCR? (Creedence Clearwater Revival)
ORIGIONAL: "theeres the bad moon, on the rise"
I THOUGHT: "Theeeres the bathroom, on the right"
hehehehehe
oh by the way, on the way to school today, i figured out that a capella section at the end of devil's got my throat today. the singing parts i mean :P. it was fun. wish i had a mic to try and record it. i must have looked like a fool trying to sing the parts today in my car.
