...tornados. for real. the entire world gets silent, like you're in a vaccum or something. the sky is china white, with dark, black as night clouds scattered around. then a few begin to cluster together, and together, into a funnel...then the siren...
sheesh it's been a weird day.
a good week though. overall, i've been thinking about my freshman year at college, and I don't think I've ever been this happy at any other point in my life. i wonder if westchester this summer will prove soothing or merciless. i guess we'll see. my brother and his SATs...oy vey. i seriously don't ever want to look at another "fiske guide to colleges" again. i feel like the minute i'm back in larchmont i'll be immersed in all that again and i can't bear the thought! but i do miss my friends, a lot. i miss how we all like the same things, and feel totally at ease with each other. no one gets pissed when nick drake is changed to fifty cent is changed to polyphonic sphree is changed to venga boys. we can drink together, sing together, and best of all, eat together, without worry. college is amazing, but there's nothing like your four best girl friends, is there?
