so we were sitting at 14th st, waiting for the A train
and these two guys in full military cameo jumpsuits with big boots and belts, come walking up the platform towards us
as they get to us, we stare at them "...O....K...."
and then as they pass us, i see that they have HUGE FUCKING MACHINE GUNS slung over their shoulders.
and my instincts were all saying 'run', as instincts do when machine guns over half the height of you are about a foot from your head
but then i thought, those can't be real, who the fuck just strolls around a train station with a huge fucking machine gun.
this must be some sort of anti-war protest, they must be some kids dressed up as GIs, with fake machine guns.
but then i saw more and more of them, just patrolling the station
they were everywhere
and their machine guns were all real
