The Secret Garden...

I'm sitting in my dream home (which I am moving into Sept. 1st) watching Harry Potter (#4) with Christina. She's cutting up peppers for her homemade salsa and drinking a Dew.

I didn't have to work today. I did whatever I wanted to do today. It was beautiful. I laid in the sun, next to Gus (one of my new favorite dogs), and read a book.
Then, Christina taught me to read music (notes, measures, etc.)
And then I played one of her flutes. I can only play F, but I'm going to be fucking awesome.
We went grocery shopping and I bought a bunch of "summer food." (ie, fruits and berries and veggies and feta and split wheat bread.)

Life is pretty much amazing.

Except for one thing:
Last night, there was a tragedy. The unimaginable happened. I have almost lost the will to live...
The hammock was broken beyond repair.
My summer is ruined, plain and simple... fucking ruined.

Christina and I ran away on Friday.
We drove to Seattle. Played on Broadway for a while. Had the best enchilada ever. Of course, spent hours in the Castle Superstore. Ran around Seattle Center and chainsmoked inside the giant fountain.
Everything was beautiful, except the late night drive back.

My mom got a myspace.
That's weird.

I should be getting a new cell phone within a couple of weeks. Life will be convenient again... but a lot less simple.

*Is it weird that I have a little crush on Professor Snape?
**Is it wrong that I am attracted to a lot of these Hogwarts kids? It is the fourth movie, in my defense.

Oh, to list the ways in which my life is beautiful would fill a book...
