music fills my ears, a jazzy tune that floats throught the crowded room and flies from the fingertips of four talented musicians, one of which im related to. my soul soars but the emmaculate strains die too soon. along the lonely path home a pair of voices sing anything they can think to express. once to my shell i cant get the voices to stop and i remember... everything ive tried so hard to forget... the scars, my broken door, my self-abused body lying motionless on the ground. i remember the demon ive all too often become with the pain of seperation from myself and the disgust i have at what i know i can become... the blood runs down my arm and i know this one wasnt intentional... why? what caused this? I hear the rustling of the things that live in my room... the other things that live in my head... the ethereal entitees that swarm like so many bats about my mind... my body feels dull and i stare into space while music from the radio pumps rhythmatically in the background. the pulses of sound seem vaugely familiar and my lips mouth the words without me really remembering them... my soul soars to a place far from here and I see a darkened cemetary. The keeper and protector of this place roams the shadowed hills and notices me... she reaches out for my aid and i go to her... it seems the thing has risen again to try and claim what it wants... it has brought help this time, stronger than the last... last time i faced them i was not alone... the old wound on my shoulder begins to itch... this time i have to do it alone...
