Flashpoint 413 A Call To Arms
I thought it was an okay ep. It felt a bit like a filler to me, but it did have some nice moments.
First: GREG!! And DEAN! And: AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! I really love how he's finally got good things happening in his life. First Marina, now Dean. Awesome! He deserves to be happy! Now let's just hope he stays that way... (Yeah, I'm looking at you, writers).
Second: Spike negotiating! Well, trying to. And we finally got confirmation of his dad's death. I liked that we finally got a glimpse of how Spike's been dealing with it, but to me it feels a bit like it's too little too late. His father being terminally ill was such an important character arc for Spike that it felt like a major letdown that they didn't revisit it until this ep.
Other than that, nothing really jumped out and grabbed me, but maybe that's just because I'm generally not too fond of gang/maffia plots. I may enjoy it more when I watch it a second time.
So did anyone see the promo for next week's ep? It's not up on YouTube yet so I can't post it here, but it looks like Greg's in biiiiig trouble. Yikes!
