wtf

So I'm up late (pulling an all nighter, don't ask) doing laundry as it hadn't been done in a while, and was finishing up my third load. I walk down around the side of our apartment building as our laundry room is in the basement. As I'm walking down the sidewalk I see some strange piles of things, and as I get close I notice that they were the clothes I had in the washing machine, strewn all across the wet sidewalk as it's been raining for hours. Some idiot came into the laundry room and took out all my clothes and did this, I thought maybe because they wanted to do a load, despite the sheer rudeness of the act. There wasn't even any clothes in the washing machine. So they did this just to be a prick. They didn't touch my clothes in the drier for whatever reason.

I swear to god, I am apparently not the patron saint of receiving kindness from Chicagoans. I get mugged some weeks ago and now this, not to mention previous acts of random rudeness. I can't even think who would do this. I saw no one on any of my runs and to my knowledge there's no one who has some hatred for me in the building, though god knows why any one would.

Why can't people just learn to be kind and treat each other with like wanted respect?
I don't understand, and I suppose it's probably a good thing I can't understand the actions of these people. All I can do is try to love people, but sometimes it's a bit trying.
