so i just got mugged...
so i just got mugged a little over an hour ago walking back from the loyola train stop home... they stole my wallet, 2 guys, one pinned me to the ground while the other pulled my wallet. just kinda really shaken up right now... it could've been a lot worse. i could've gotten hurt bad... and i didn't have too much cash in there, maybe $30... everything is canceled already. most annoying thing is i also had my state id, school id, and u-pass in there..... just why the hell why me... it was surreal, like being instantly thrown into a nightmare... i've been thinking about moving to canada over the weekend, ha! is this a sign? whatever... ironic thing is i was carrying the book "seeds of peace," a buddhist perspective on western capitalistic decadence and how it contributes to the decay of values and the increase of crimes... what a joke.
