Movies and Russell Brand
I caught a showing of I Love You Man tonight at the theatre and had a lovely time. It was a good mindless, laugh with some adorable moments by both Jason Segel and Paul Rudd. Earlier today, I saw Sunshine Cleaners, which was enjoyable and Emily Blunt was the stand-out performance in that for me. I really like her work.
This morning I had a dream that Russell Brand and I were on a tour bus of some sort, and giggling like children in the seat as we plotted something. Then we were scampering through a venue where Russell grabbed a wireless mic and stuck it in his pocket and then went out to the mic on stage and started performing stand-up to the incoming crowd at what seemed to be a rock concert. I was still amused as I watched from the side of the stage, and I was trying to hold the security back by telling them how lucky they were and how much the audience was going to love him. One security guy slipped past and took the Mic away from Russell who promptly pulled the wireless one out of his pocket and continued while the sound guy was trying to figure out if he should shut down the whole shebang.
