Wowie...
So, my friend is much better now...after four-five days in the hospital as they treated the bad staph infection in his leg. He's up and moving around again without crutches, though.
Much to my dismay, another year has passed that I haven't been to DragonCon. I keep wanting to go, but never have the vacation time to make it down there.
This past weekend, I judged a Legacy GPT with Dan...and going into said trial, I was relatively certain I was out of my element. Well, other than not knowing the current Oracle wordings off the top of my head, I discovered I was just fine. This actually gives me hope for if Andy forces me to work the floor at the PT. Alright, technically I did volunteer, but I begged and begged to be able to assist/shadow the scorekeeper because it's a strong interest of mine. We'll see how that goes. Regardless, I need to refresh my extended knowledge and review comp. rules and policy. Also on the magic to-do list is learning the Two-Headed Giant official rules so I can judge that at the Pre-Release in two weeks.
That's about all that's been going on in my non-exciting life. Though, I did buy Lost on DVD and enjoyed watching it all the way through this past weeken, as well.
