Surf'in the net from the craptop.

Apparently to make my PCMCIA card manager work all I had to do was remove one of the memory addresses that the program was probing.

Unfortunaetly it took a good surf'in of the net to discover this as it isn't exactly the most obvious fix.

The really strange thing is that I've heard nothing but bad things about the cheap-ass kingmax series of network cards (PCMCIA) when running under linux. I havn't heard of anyone who hasn't had a problem with them, except me... it would seem that after a nice little reboot the system will recognise the NIC and initiate DHCP connecting all without me having to lift a finger...which is about the first thing that HAS worked like that under Linux so far ;)

Running linux makes me feel like such a user, I have to use the 'man' command to work out how to extract a tarball... :(
