THE Dress
There's something so surreal about finding your wedding dress, THE dress, the dress a lot of girls dream about. I was never really one of those girls,in fact up until I met Cody I NEVER EVER wanted to get married EVER. But, today Viv and I went to the Bridal Shop and as usual they had dresses all baged up in those sticky plastic body bags and they all looked exactly the same.. but then I peaked into this one fitting room and there it was... it was the Dress I fell in love with. I took one look and my mouth dropped open, and for those few seconds the words coming out of the sales lady's mouth were unheard, and I just focused on this dress.
Yeah Yeah, so I know it's just a dress, but you have to understand... I've NEVER been all about the frills and the girly stuff... but for today I was totally immersed in Wedding!
It's amazing, and it is everything I could have hoped for, it incoorperates the Pink I wanted in my dress and it does it in such a way that is just breath taking. Even with my gross hair pulled back in a pony tail and my sweaty rosy cheakes and my fat arms I felt beautiful, I felt like a princess, and it was perfect.
The best part is that the price tag is perfect as well. I set a limit as to what I would be willing to spend on a dress and it was about $250 BELOW my budget, which is perfect becuase once I get the Tiara and the veil it'll equal my dress budget, so aka we're under budget already! Thats good thing!!
Anyways, thats the story of my day. It was pretty successful, considering I didn't even plan on really looking, but it was nice to find the hidden treasure.
Soooo... anyways, YES I did just ramble on about a dress for likea million paragraphs, but this is a girls wedding day... it comes ONCE (hopefully lol) in her life... and I'm soooo extatic to find something that, like my fiance, totally took my breath away!
