And with 100% less sulking.
I have no idea why I was so sad and grumpy the last few days. Ick. I seem to be back to normal, though, and thank god for that. I was getting on my nerves.
My new-to-me Hoover should arrive on Friday. I cannot wait. I have tumbleweeds the size of my head made out of cat hair. They sort of roll around from the living room, down the hall, and into the bedroom, and then turn around and roll back. While it is fascinating to watch, I'd really rather not have them. They clash with the decor, you see.
Due to arrive today is Christmas Package Number Three from my parents, and then there will evidently be two more on Friday. I lurves the presents. I lurves getting things in the mail, too. Monday I came home from my meeting to find my Superbad DVD sitting on a box containing
DERMAdoctor KP Duty Body Scrub and another containing
Murad Clarifying Cleanser, which were on the box containing my copy of
The Reincarnationist, which was on a care package from Mom and Dad (yay mince pies and advent calendars and Christmas presents and Hoops & Yoyo singing cards!), which was on top of a box from Amazon that I cannot open until Christmas. It was a pyramid o' pressies, and it was fabulous.
I may bake cookies tonight. I may also spend the evening on the couch, cuddling with Linus and watching DVRed episodes of Challenge. The one I watched this morning was about cupcakes, and it was absolutely fantabulous. It was all about the floral fantasy. I was pleased that my favorite was the winner.
Speaking of DVRed episodes of television shows, I need more Torchwood. How did I only just discover this show? Must. Have. More.
And now I need a nap. Zzzz.
