The New and Improved Trista - Now Enriched with Vitamin D!

I just spent my lunch sitting on a swing by a lake, reading. While the rays of the evil daystar touched my skin. And I loved it. Today is such a gloriously perfect day. The sun is bright in a soft, warm sort of way rather than a horrid burny sort of way, and the sky is a beautiful shade of blue. There is a circle of very thin ice in the middle of the lake, but the ring of water around it has gentle ripples from the breeze, and there are honking birds which I assume are geese chasing each other in low sweeps across the surface.

I may have overdone it slightly, and as a result may be slightly overdone. I am a medium-rare pink color now, and I'm certain that there are more freckles on my arms now than there were an hour ago. I'll have to bring my second bottle of sunscreen mist in for future lunches. Really, though, I'm okay with the extra sun. It was worth it to be outside.

I love this day.
